# 21.cash

> Wrap any API, URL, or file in an x402 paywall and get paid per call in USDC on Base.
> Every resource is payable over plain HTTP by a human wallet or an autonomous agent —
> no API keys, no accounts, no invoices. Payments settle to a router contract that can
> split revenue across up to five beneficiaries.

## How to pay a 21.cash resource

Request the resource. An unpaid request returns HTTP 402 with a `PAYMENT-REQUIRED` header
carrying base64-encoded x402 terms (scheme `exact`, network `eip155:8453`, USDC). Sign an
EIP-3009 authorization for the stated amount, retry with the `X-PAYMENT` header, and the
response body is returned once the facilitator settles.
